    Duties

 

  • Prepare and deliver engaging Korean language lessons based on student’s learning levels and needs.
  • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning activities for each class.
  • Teach Korean language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar.
  • Use effective and interactive teaching methods to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Assess student’s learning progress and provide constructive feedback to support their improvement.
  • Monitor students’ participation, attendance, and academic performance.
  • Provide additional support and guidance to students who need assistance with their learning.
  •  Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate students’ learning progress and any concerns to the relevant school staff or management.
  •  Participate in school activities, meetings, training sessions, or other programs when required.
  •  Collaborate with homeroom teachers and relevant staff to support student’s overall learning and development.
  •  Follow the school’s policies, procedures, and professional code of conduct.
  •  Maintain confidentiality regarding students’ personal information and academic records.
  •  Perform other related duties as assigned by the school management.

    REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Korean Language for Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • A recognized teaching qualification or relevant teaching certificate is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in the Korean language, with strong speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Previous experience teaching Korean, preferably to children or students, is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Khmer is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable personality.
  • Passionate about teaching and working with children and students.
  • Patient, responsible, flexible, and able to adapt to different students’ learning needs.
  • Ability to prepare engaging lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff.
  • Committed to the school’s vision, core values, and professional code of ethics.
  • Knowledge and understanding of children’s rights and child safeguarding.
  • Willingness to work according to the school’s part-time teaching schedule and participate in relevant school activities when required.
  • Honest, professional, reliable, and able to comply with the school’s policies and regulations. 
  • MUST hold TOPIK certififcate.
